Hey all, I am wanting to upgrade my PC the current specs are: Pentium 4 socket 775 @ 3.6 GHZ, Foxconn MObo (i dont know what type), 410 watt PSU, 2 gigs of 533 MHZ Ram, Nvidia geforce 9800 GT (i know big bottle neck) 250 gig HD.

I want to upgrade the motherboard Ram and CPU but i will need to upgrade the OS since it is tied to the MOBO.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: this month

BUDGET RANGE: 250ish

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: gaming and school.

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: GPU, Case, disc drive, hard drive , PSU

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Newegg or tigerdirect

PARTS PREFERENCES: AMD athlon II x2

OVERCLOCKING: maybe

MONITOR RESOLUTION:1280 X 1024

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: ya the budget is small but i would be happy with 2 gigs of ram and a small motherboard.

If you could just put together a list of some parts i would be very happy!

Best solution
