I've had quotes from $50 for the whole job to $69 plus
parts. The old 505G isn't woth it so I'm going to replace
the battery myself.
The battery is a B-4002 that's also used in other laptops.
Prices range from $17.25 to $47.95! Quite a ripoff for 6
NiMH batteries soldered together with 2 external leads and a
heat shrink cover! The original connecter has to be used
with the new battey.
