Intel core2 duo processors Eseries or Intel Pentium processorsT4300
I am looking to buy a new laptop and am confused firstly between Intel Core2 duo processors and Intel Dual core processors ?
The laptop that I have shortlisted has Intel Pentium Processor T4300 . http://www.sony.co.in/product/vpccw12en
Is it way inferior to Intel Core2 Duos and/or Intel Dual Cores or is it the same as Intel Dual core processors ? I am confused from the performance point of view .

Looks like a midrange mobile CPU from the passmark chart and half-decently stacking up against the mobile i5 and Core2's. Couldn't find much on the specifics - my wife actually just bought a Sony V that has a T4400@2.2GHz so I've been wondering this myself.
