Would a ATI Radeon 5970 fit in my motherboard?

Hello, a Ati Radeon 5970 got PCI-E 2.1 x 16 while my motherboard says 2.0 x 16, Would the graphic card still be able to fit into my motherboard and work normally?

My motherboard is ASUS P6X58D Premium.

Yes it will work fine,PCI-E 2.1 will fit fine in a PCI-E 2.0 slot
