How do I remove write protection from a USB memory stick?

my usb was working fine yesterday, when using it earlier, it asked me to format the usb, so i did (or else i wouldnt be aable to use it at all), after i did i copied 1 song and then copied a second, and the written protection popped up help me get rid of it please, i got it from hong kong...and wont be going anytime soon

Try this guide, unless u have a switch on the USB stick to turn off the written protection.
