Unless you have 4-5 case fans (side, roof, front and exhaust) i wouldnt even consider sound proofing. You need to keep a good constant air fow around the case otherwise components will be trying to cool themselves with already hot air.

If you do chose to sound proof, keep an eye on temps of components and inside case.

I have a coolermaster atcs 840 with 8 fans(3 230mm and 5 120mm) so airflow is not an issue.The case is pretty quiet and i have a fan controler too(phobya fan max 6) but i want to make it inaudible.

I have the noctua fans..The nf-p12 and my planing in a couple of months getting the nh-d14.Now i have a coolermaster v8 and it has adjustable rpms so again there is no issue.Like i said i also have fan controller.
