Hi. I first want to say that i'm new to this site so please bare with me if I forget to write something. Anyways, I have a AMD Phenom 9500 Quad-Core Processor, a XFX nForce 750a SLI Motherboard, a NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT and 4 gigs of Corsair XMS DDR2 PC2-6400.

Because I upgraded to windows 7, i felt that I should also reformat as well. Because the motherboard's CD only contained drivers for Vista and XP, i had to go to Nvidia's website and DL them there. When i installed and played a game (Team Fortress 2) playing on the absolute lowest setting possible, i was only getting 10 FPS.

I dont feel that this is a problem with my video card drivers because i had a friend tell me when he was lookin in my device manager that it looked like my chipset drivers never installed. He also said that under the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers menu, if i installed the chipset drivers it shouldn't say Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller.

Being quite desperate to get back to gaming, any advice is much appreciated :)
