Hello everyone!
I just bought a new computer with the following specs;
Intel I7 920 2.67 GHZ
6.0 GB RAM
Asus p6t Deluxe v2 MB
Two 1TB HD
1 DVDr
PSU Corsair 750w
XFX GTX 260
Windows 7 64bit
After one week with my new computer, some issues started ocurring.
Every time I let my pc rest for 5 hours or more and then I started it, it would display strange artifacts during boot and windows would disable the driver (error 43). At first I simply reinstalled the GPU drives and everything got back to normal.
But then, every time I reboot after allowing it to rest, it would get the same artifacts again.
I tried running windows system assessment, but after 1 min. it froze.
I thougt maybe my line filter wasn't allowing enough power to let my GPU start. I plugged my pc directly to the wall.
Well, the artifacts stopped at first.
I installed call of suty modern warfare 2 to test if everything was ok.
Well, after 10 min artifacts started showing on my display until the game and OS froze completely.
I restarted my pc and the artifacts during boot were there again.
Every time I try to play a game, my pc freezes and I get artifacts all over the place.
Asus PC probe II reads the following:
3.28v
5.17v
12.19v
CPU 45º
MB 46º
Do you guys have any idea what could it be?
Could it be my PSU?
Coz I'm thinking about getting my GPU replaced...
Thanks in advance,
