TOSHIBA RECOVERY DISK CONTENTS

I had a disk-head crash that destroyed the hard-drive. I installed a new one but obviously it is blank. I created Toshiba Recovery Disks when the machine was new. Before I get started and possibly mess something else up, do the recovery disks contain and allow you to install Windows (Vista) and the appropriate Toshiba drivers ????? Thanks for any and all advice.

The recovery disk will setup the HDD just like the system was when you first bought it - so afterwards you'll need to rerun Windows update to get the various updates and also reinstall any programs that you had added to it.

We proceeded with the recovery disk setup and it worked out, just as you said, perfectly. Thanks a million for your help. Bruce
