How to make a basic disk in XP after install a new HDD?

Hi all,

I installed a new 80GB HDD, the BIOS can detect it, and after login to XP,
it also detected it.

But when I right click "my computer" and then choose "manage", later go to
the "Disk Management", it said need init. my HDD, I click next, but the
popup said that the process when make a dynamic disk to me, not is the basic
disk.

I am wonder why haven't other choose for me in XP, I don't want to make a
dynamic disk, just need a basic disk only, how to init. a new hdd to a basic
disk in XP?
