Laptop will not provide password box for wireless network connection

trying to add another computer to network, this laptop is older os xp home sp3. laptop can find secured network, when i select network it does not provide a place to add network password. unlike the other computers which prompted me to add password.

Go to Start->Run, type "ncpa.cpl" (no quotes), and hit enter. Locate your wireless network adapter, right click it, and select Properties. Select the Wireless Networks tab, locate your SSID in the Preferred Networks box, select it, hit Properties, and enter your network key.
