Hi i,m getting a amd phenom x4 9650 for my msi k9n6pgm2-v but the model number is not on the cpu list will it still work , has all the right sockets i:e am2+ and 95w.

Your board supports the agena 9650 with bios program 2.4. If your bios file permits it, try setting your cpu fsb at 240 and the memory ratio at 1:1.66 or 1.66:1 (forgot which it is, but there's only one of these settings). This ram ratio kept my pc6400 at 800 speed while overclocking the cpu.
