That is unfortunate, but it doesn't make your rig any faster. What you claim is simply impossible. You can't run BF3 on ultra at 1080p and 40 FPS with a crappy dual core processor and budget video card.

As far as the overclock goes, I would consider the speed pretty good, but you're using way too much voltage. Maximum safe voltage for your chip is 1.5v, and that's still really high. You will destroy your chip in short order with that voltage, and you clearly can't afford to replace it.

I also doubt that overclock is stable. Have you stress tested to see what your temperatures are under load? The 40c I see in your screenshots don't look like load temps for 1.55v to me. Unless you have a really good cooler, I'd expect to see them closer to 60c, or even higher. High temperatures will further reduce the lifespan of your chip, by the way.

You need to get your voltages down ASAP. That chip overclocks pretty well, and I've seen lots of reports of people getting to 3.0 GHz at stock voltage, or nearly stock. Taking 1.55 to get to 3.1 is WAY off.

I'm not saying it's impossible to play the game on ultra with that card. I'm saying that rig won't do an average of 40 FPS on ultra at 1080p. You'll get much lower FPS than that, well into the realm of what most people would consider "unplayable."

Look at this article Tom's did a while back. It took an HD 6950 to get an average of 40 FPS on ultra at 1080p, and it barely pulls it off. Now look at this comparison of the 6950 and 6670.

Here's another article where the HD 6670 is tested against BF3. It only managed an average of 47 FPS, but at low settings at a low resolution.

The 6950 is much, much faster than your video card, but it can only barely do what you claim your card has done. The fact that nobody even bothered to bench the 6670 on ultra in BF3 at 1080p is also very telling that it's quite obvious to everyone that it can't handle the game on ultra at 1080p.

You may have gotten 40 FPS sitting in the main menu, or while in game staring at the sky, but that does not translate to a 40 FPS average. What your claiming is simply false.
