How many cores in the I7 CPU?

Hi there,

I was wondering, exactly how many cores does the I7 have, also what is the difference between the different I7's?

Actually some of the i7 processors have 2 cores and others 4 cores depending on the one you get.

the 920 has 4 actual cores and supports hyper threading which means that the operating system will recognize it as 8 cores.. however the benefit with ht is minimal as of today...

all i7 processors have 4 cores and support hyper threading... its the i5 processors wherein one has 4 cores without hyper threading and the rest have 2 cores with hyper threading...

Don't mind me bumping up sir. "Intel® Core i7-4500U" has 2 cores.
