How to get HDMI sound working with PC speakers

I am running a GB Motherboard with Realtek sound. I am running a tv at the same time as the monitor as a duplicate display. The motheboard has a XFX 4000 series card with HDMI out. I am feeding the tv with this connection. How to I get the pc speakers to work with the sound in the tv at the same time. I know about the audio control and default either one or the other. Can a add on sound card be added and run the speakers at the same time as the HDMI sound output? Or are there any other way to have sound on both at the same time?

sorry im no help, but the least i could say is check your control panel, and go to sound, and check your ati hdmi connection.
