Hi,

I was looking at buying a TR2MP (PCGTR2MP) ultra-portable but the other day
I saw an apparently newer model called the TR5MP.

Anyone seen any reviews of this or know how it compares with the TR2MP? It
looks like a minor upgrade, but on the sony UK website they seem to be
currently selling both for the same retail price which would seem to imply
it isn't a replacement !?!

Hi Andy...

Same machine except it has a faster processor (1.1GHz compared to 1GHz) and
a DVDRW as opposed to a CDRW/DVD.

Price will be the similar for both models at most outlets, and we will have
it onsite for the start of July. Should be on an x2 Double RAM offer at
£1699.99 inc vat...offer is that you have 1GB memory preinstalled.

If you are interested though, we have one last TR2MP available with a
similar x2 DR offer at only £1499.99 inc vat.

If you have any questions, please contact me on this email address or go to
www.red-cloud.co.uk for full details...TR2MP offer is in our new Bargains
Dept.

Thanks

Euan.
