Hello - We are ghaving a bit of a strange one. we run around 17 xp client computers connected to a domain and all run fine , no connectivity issues whatsoever. But we also run 3 windows vista laptops/desktop computers - they are all hard wired in, the laptop ever so often (around five minutes or so) will lose sight of the server/network drives but can still ping it but cannot access it. the desktop loses sight of the server also, can ping it and still has network drives but can only see 1 folder on that paticular drive , we have replaced all cables in the cabinet and also connecting the pc's to the wall outlets and we know these cables work. We have turned off all firewalls etc to no avail. Any ideas or sort of help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You'll have to install the Vista plugins for Server 2003. Checking into RSAT addins for 2003/Vista.

Microsoft, in a way to get people to purchase newer software, didn't build in the support for Vista into 2003. You had to use an add-in or go to 2008.
