How to unlock/unprotect the memory card of canon digital camera

I'd tell you why we can't answer this question, but I find that I'm doing so ten times a day to people who never, ever respond. So I'll just leave you to figure out why we can't help you when you haven't told us what camera you have, what kind memory card is in it and how you're trying to access it.

Whoops, there I go again, explaining for the 100th time this month that people aren't psychic and vague "it doesn't work" statements aren't remotely useful in diagnosing issues with computers.

Need more information:

What type of card is this? (SD, micro-SD, Compact Flash etc.)

What camera do you have?

Why are you trying to "unlock" this card?

to take photos!!
