Hi I am about to get a dual monitor for my computer, but I'm not sure if my computer will be able to handle the strain, and as a result lose processing power/make games more laggy/etc.

Here are my specs:
GFX Card: ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series
CPU: AMD Athlon 7750 Dual Core 2.70 GHz

Monitor1: Samsung 206bw
Resolution 1680x1050
Brightness
300 cd/m2
Contrast Ratio 800:1
Response Time
2 ms (G to G)

Monitor2: Samsung SyncMaster 2053BW
20 inch Widescreen Display
300 cd/m² Brightness
8000:1 Dynamic, 1000:1 Contrast Ratio
2ms Response Time
HDCP Compatible

Will my computer be able to handle both monitors fine?

Solution
You won't be able to game on both monitors at the same time. However, adding another monitor is very little strain at all. Some of the new 5xxx series can handle six monitors on one card.

Ah ok that's fine, who can game on two monitors at once wow @.@. Thanks for answering my question, but may I ask where the strain comes in? I assume it's practically all on the graphics card?
