I'm hoping the experts could check out this build and see if it looks solid. Expected purchase date is within the month and used for gaming and web.Maybe xfire down the road as well as minor OC. Thanks!

Solution
Trade the WD for a Samsung Spinpoint F3. It will be faster and typically cheaper.

What's the CAS Latency on the RAM? You should be looking for 7s.

Switch to the X4 955. The 955 is cheaper, and has the same overclocking potential. All you're paying for with the 965 is a mild factory overclock that can be achieved with stock cooling.

You really dont' need a 4 PCIe x16 slot board. Crossfiring doesn't scale up very well past 2 cards, and you're already buying the best card on the market. Look for a different board with either 16x/16x or 8x/8x. There isn't a whole lot of difference in performance between the two. My favorite is the ASUS M4A79XTD EVO, but there are several good choice out there.
