Hello,
I'm installing my GIGABYTE GA-MA74GM-S2 into a cooler master cm690. when installing the standoffs there is a 7th hole for a standoff that has no hole in the motherboard tray the 7th screw hole. its the right most bottom hole. Do i need that screw with eh standoff or am i fine with just the 6? its the hole under the line for IDE/PATA connector. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ImageGallery.aspx?CurImage=13-128-342-S03&ISList=13-128-342-S01%2c13-128-342-S02%2c13-128-342-S03%2c13-128-342-S04%2c13-128-342-S05&S7ImageFlag=1&Item=N82E16813128342&Depa=0&WaterMark=1&Description=GIGABYTE%20GA-MA74GM-S2%20AM3%2fAM2%2b%2fAM2%20AMD%20740G%20Micro%20ATX%20AMD%20Motherboard

Falcon your right. the motherboard has a mount point but there is no standoff hole below it. I finished the computer and just held the motherboard when plugging things in near it. posted and everything. so I guess it was just a extra hole for some reason
