Do all nas use the same sata drives?

Can I switch out my sata drives from d-link dns 323 to a readynas duo or other enclosure?

Always check the drive compatibility list for the NAS you intend to put the drives into.

SATA drives from the D-Link will "fit" but they may or may not be compatible - sometimes a firmware upgrade is all that is required for compatibility.

Now, do you mean will the ReadyNAS be able to read the array and the data?

all nas use the same sata drives, like all cars use the same engines.......can you drop a v8 chev motor into a hyundai coupe?
