Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

Yeah, if u are building a new rig u need buy RAM too since the DDR RAM is one of the 1st types of RAM that comes out to the market and that RAM type only works with old mobos and old CPUs.

DDR2 or DDR3 depends of the mobo that u buy.

Bear in mind that DDR2 and DDR3 have a very similar price but the performance with DDR3 is a little better.

How much? this also depends of the mobo and CPU, if u buy AMD or Intel i3,i5 or i7-8xx series with 4GB with CL8 or less and 1.65V max is enough. But if u want a X58 mobo with the Intel i7-9xx series then u can go with 6GB with the same specs CL8 or less and 1.65V max.

Yeah, but u know that always depends of the budget. That's a very good mobo.

What do u think of the RAM?

well i think thats too expensive for me right now, ill just go with a regular 4gb RAM somewhere else for cheap. it doesnt have to be to special.
thanks
