Picking a Fan Controller

Not quite sure if this is the right category, its fairly close if not...

So far my computer has been nothing but awesome while gaming, but the fans aren't quiet enough for my taste while playing around on the internet and doing schoolwork, so I plan on ordering a fan controller that allows me to turn my fans completely off, allowing me to turn my fans down until they're silent, and turn off excess fans when not gaming.

I'm curious what all you guys would recommend for a fan controller. I want a 4-5 channel controller (up to 5 fans, room for future expansion) that allows me to turn off a fan completely, is black, has a fan RPM display , and is of good quality (I don't want garbage).

My budget is around 40$ and link me only from performance-pcs please thanks!

Hi

Have you considered a Lamptron FC6, it has four channels, each channel can handle 20W, so you could connect about four fans to each channel if you wanted, you can turn the fans off if you want and I personally think it looks quite stylish.

http://lamptron.com/products/view/Fan_Controller_FC6 Its abit over budget on Lamptrons website but you may be able to find it cheaper elsewhere.

Ok thanks for the quick answer one more question ^^right now i am using H100 with 2 customized fans this are the fans that i am correctly using:

and i want to upgrade to something better some friends of mine told me to get 2 of those

will i notice any temp drop if i will get those?or maybe there is any better fans?

Your friends are correct, Gentle Typhoons are excellent fans for radiators as they have very good static pressure, so will push the air through the radiator more easily than most other fans.
You should see a slight reduction in load temps with the GT's
