Mossing folders

Hello,
I run win xp on my i3 computer. I've got a 2tb exrenal LG hdd connected where I store all my
software and videos. Now all of a sudden the folder where I store my videos is empty. When I click on it I get error the folder is not accessible and access is denied. I deleted the partition and recover it with Active@ partition recovery where I can see the missing folders
but I cant recover them. Will you please help me.

if you deleted the partition then your data is gone. you can attempt to recover it with a tool like PhotoRec
