Cannot save to my pictures

Hello,
When I download picture images from my yahoo email and select save, the window does not appear on the desktop to give me the option to save it to my pictures. What is the problem?

how do you select save? do you click on File-> Save As in your web browser? Do you right click on the picture and choose "Save image as..."

I right click on the picture with an attempt to save picture as.

Let me be a little more specific here. When I try to send an attachment in my email, an immediate baloon appear at the top left of my desktop stating:

This tab has been recovered.
A problem with this webpage caused Internet Explorer to close and reopen the tab.

The same happens when I try to select a picture from the internet and save it to my pictures as well as when I trying to send my resume to have it updated to craigslist or monster, I cannot save the updated resume. That same baloon appear and leaves me unable to procede.

okay so the problem is not that you are having trouble saving pictures, the problem is that Internet Explorer is crashing. Try using Firefox or Google Chrome instead.

I dowloaded Firefox as well as Google Chrome and what happened was, when I tried using them to send my attachment or even saving a picture from Internet Explorer it crashes and sends me back to my desk top view.

I really wish I could find a way to solve this problem because it is really becoming a pproblem.

Please help.
