I'd stick with a 955 to save some money. The difference is only worth it if you want to min/max and even then, it would probably be better to just get an i5.

I honestly don't think there'll be a sale on 5850, though I've been wrong many times. So using that pretext... instead of getting 2 5850s, why not try to grab a 5970? There should be some coming into newegg in a few days:

When you upgrade again, you definitely won't have to worry about your video card.... which I'm assuming may be relatively soon considering you're running ddr2 and seem to be upgrading only some parts at the moment.

950 sounds good for your psu. Just a side note, I recall some of corsair's tx-series being made by CWT, as opposed to seasonic. Not saying CWT is any worse than seasonic, but it's just my preference. And then again, I'm also not sure if this is true for the 950, might just be 750/850.

I understand my memory is DDR2 wich I am fine with. This build is a Brand new build that ive been piecing together for the past week or so. THe COU will be AM3 the mobo is am2 am3 so thats not a big deal there. I know this is not a i5 build and I dont plan on going intel anytime soon.

To be honest I am an AMD Fanboy and I want to stay with AMD. the system above I believe is a Solid performer and I know i wont need to upgrade for sometime.

I also believe that a 950wat PSU even for 5850's might be a bit overkill but I could be wrong this is why im here asking.
