So i have this Western Digital Elements 2 TB Hard drive since more than 1 year ago, it has always worked very good, and i have never dropped it....
But today, suddenly windows stopped seeing it... it was connected to my Wii.. the Wii froze and i had to power it off, after this, it wasnt recognized by the Wii, then i connected it to my pc, and same problem, windows does not see the drive...... i got a message of "unknown device installed" and "ready to use", but nothing happens, and it does not appear on "my computer" or disk management......
i tried different usb ports and 2.0/3.0.... nothing... restarting pc but same problem....
the drive led is working and it powers and flashes as if its reading the drive.... no click or strange sounds, and i can hear the drive is spinning if i get too close to it.... everything seems normal, but it just dont get recognized..... what can i do???
