You cannot overclock non-K CPUs.

Technically, you can overclock them by messing with the reference clock (BCLK) but this overclocks all other clocks derived from it including PCIe which only has 5-10% tolerance depending on whatever your least tolerant device is. Since tolerances on BCLK-derived clocks are so tight, overclocking using BCLK has very little headroom before becoming a stability hazard.

3770 has a base clock of 3.4. With a single core, it can turbo up to 3.9.
Any overclocking capabilities are essentially zero.

The 3770K has a base clock of 3.5 and a turbo of 3.9.
With the K, you can easily OC to 4.0 and with good cooling and a good chip, you might expect 4.5
