Advice on $1000 gaming pc

ok this is my first post here.. im planning to build this some where around april next year.

processor -- AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition

mobo -- CROSSHAIR III FORMULA AM3 or ASUS M4A79XTD EVO [cant decide :'( ]

gfx -- RADEON 5870

memory -- Corsair Dominator 2x2gb 1600mhz

hdd -- SEA 320GB 7200RPM 16MB SATA [

dvd burner -- ???? [need advice!!]

Heat sink -
*CPU Cooler - Freezer XTREME Rev.2 Ultra-120 eXtreme
*VGA Cooler - Accelero TWIN TURBO Pro
*Case Fan - ??? [need advice..]

psu - Corsair HX850W

Case -- NZXT Apollo ATX Tower Case

my build is focused on getting a good cpu which will last me 2years without any major upgrades.ram,hdd i plan to upgrade l8r when needed..

n lastly sud i buy a memory cooler too??but dn again i dnt want my neighbour to think we bought a helicopter :D
 
Solution
The good news is, late winter is usually the cheapest time to buy. Looking now is too early, hold off until you get there to take advantage of the price drop.

Next April huh? Waiting for tax refund? I give you credit for planning early. Be mindful that 6 months in the hardware world is a whole new life cycle and your components you listed might not be what you'll want.

What will be the main purpose of your new rig? Gaming? Photo/video editing? or basic general use?
