Amd xfx7970

hi!
today i tried to overclock my xfx7970 but i couldnt even overclock it to 1100mhz (mine is on 1000mhz stock)

and when i play battlefield 3 after some minutes the game closes.
what could be the problem?

  1. You should start smaller, like 1010mhz and increase in increments of 5-10 from there, when overclocking jumping by large amounts in frequency will get you nowhere fast.

    yes i know, but ive seen some good numbers from core and memory clocks.
    and also, i cant raise the vcore, dont know why...
