RAID10 status initialize

I created RAID10 with 4 SAS HDD, the status was Normal in the RAID option ROM screen, but after I installed RedHat 6.1 with this volume and rebooted, I found the status was yellow Initialize text, not the green Normal text, is that anything bad? What does "Initialize" mean? and "rebuild"? Who can help me?

It will be difficult to help if you don't provide info about the controller being used. If initialization completes, then it should be fine.
