HELP MOBO???

The denab 955 at 125 watts is the fastest cpu it will run, according to the cpu support section, with bios version 8.0 which newegg boards should have, since they have a pretty high turnover.

when overclocking a processor it will always use more watts. that board might bottlekneck the possibility of a high overclock.

agree with redefined only when u are planning on overclocking to great extent... small overclocks are fine by increasing the voltages.. if u want a high overclock i suggest u go for a better board..

Yeah. im not think about any oc at all.. Im looking for a cheap upgrade. My other motherboard is dead. with an phenom triple core 8400 2,1 GHZ and thinking about upgrading CPU and MOBO.. im useing a 4870 so it should be a nice upgrade becuase the Triple core was a bottleneck. :( and a Phenom II 965/955 should do the job better i hope :)

Major problems with that statement that make me sad. P=IV; watts=Voltage x amps! You increase voltage, you increase watts accordingly.
