500GB or 1TB

hello today im purchasing a system from cyberpower and i was wondering will i lose performance if i get this 500GB SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 16MB Cache 7200RPM HDD (Single Drive) instead of 1TB SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 32MB Cache 7200RPM HDD (Single Drive. what is the difference between a 16mb cache and a 32 mb cache?

  1. A little bit of mostly unnoticeable speed. You are better off making your decision on the basis of the size of hard disk you want or need.

It's like "ram" for the hard drive. A faster spot to put data for a minute. The difference will be minute at best.
