Are they compatible with each other?
And do you guys think this is a good setup for home/office use?

The Kinston ram is triple channel for X58 mobo.it's not what you want.
If you want only 2gb of ram you'll have to buy a kit of 2 1gb sticks for a P55.

G.skills are very good and the voltages are much lower then the Kingston so i would say yes in that regard.
