1600MHz 7-8-7-24 RAM Underclocked

Hi all, I have this RAM in my Phenom II system.

It shows in Overdrive as being at 667Mhz (which I believe is really 1334) rather than 800 (1600). Also, the timings are reading 9-9-9-24 rather than 7-8-7-24. Is it safe to go into the BIOS and change these settings? Is that even what I'm supposed to do? Why is it like this?

its because tighter timings are not on the jedec official specification , so the memory is programmed to the give official 9 9 9 24 timings to the bios when u use it first . yes , u are supposed to change the timings on the bios to run them at the spec u purchased them for ! go ahead ..

So get rid of "Auto" for the latency and frequency settings, but leave the rest on Auto correct.
