Formatting c drive with vista

My window is going to expire today. I have a vista another cd with activation code. I want to replace old with new vista without affecting any other drives in my computer. Pls Help me as soon as possible Im in hurry. Because it will expire today.

  1. make sure your pc is set to boot from CD in BIOS, then during the installation process Vista will show you the drives / partitions that currently exist. You need to choose the drive or partition that windows is currently installed on.

    Delete or format that drive / partition then begin the installation process after creating a a new partition.

    However - if you have programs on the other drives you will need to reinstall them as the directory entries for them will be lost on the new installtion.
