I have a BlacX dual dock. It has a USB2 connector and an eSATA connector. When I plug it into the USB port on my computer, everthing is fine. When I plug it into the eSATA port, it does not show up in Windows Explorer (Win 7 - 64bit). If I open computer management, it says the drives need to initialized. It is not possible to switch a drive between USB and eSATA? :??: :??:

It is initialized and accessible when I have it hooked into the USB port. There are lots of stuff on the drive. I assumed that if I initialize the drive, that would erase what is on the drive. Is that not the case?
