They're all good choices. The graphics card is almost too high performance for this system; you could save a little here and go with a GeForce 9800 GT or even 9600 GT without giving up too much, I think, but overall this looks like a great build for the money.

What about the 4830 I had initially. Would it be worth it to save the money on shipping and the card. Its about 30 cheaper if you factor in shipping. I was just looking for something with good performance.

It's going to give you about the same performance as an 9800 GT, so that's another option.

No fair! If I posted this budget gaming build I would get alot of flack for not including ddr3, even though those same critcs have said that the difference between ddr2 and ddr3 are minimal, and that ddr2 ram + mobos are cheaper than their ddr3 counterparts.

Well I'm getting a good deal on a quad core with that motherboard. So I would rather have that than a less powerful cpu and ddr3.
