9800gtx power requirements compatibility with my rig?

system specs:
19'' samsung lcd
currently running 8600gt 512mb ddr2
c2d 2.2ghz E4500
2 hdd = 160gb WD + 1tbWD caviar green
intel board dg31pr

looking for gpu upgrade, prefrence nvidia
plz help if the card would run on my rig with the psu i have
not looking for upgrade of any other unit just the gpu till now ,not even the psu
recommend gpu which can run on 450w colorsit supply
looking for a better gpu than my 8600gt
plzzz help i am really confused about this ..

Your PSU is not the greatest and it is hard to recommend anything that needs extra power from it 9800GTX req 26amps on the +12 volt rail you have only 19amps.
Cards that most likely will run on your psu are HD4670 or GF GT240. Anything more powerful is a gamble. Take a look at this http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-graphics-card,...

guess i am gonna have to get the supply changed as well ..
gonna b hard as i wanted to upgrade and play games better than my 8600gt
not thought that whole rig would need to b changed for it lol
well thnx anyway will think of an alternative or would have to do with the same rig for the timebeing

That is a very very shitty PSU.
Don't think about adding any card.
If your budget is small then get Corsair CX400 or Gigabyte Superb 460w minimum.

They should work with 9800GTX.
