Which is better: intel Core 2 Duo, Centrino 2, Core i3, i5 or i7

Hello. I am purchasing a laptop and I know Intel is better, but which processor is better?
The Intel Core 2 Duo, the Intel Centrino 2, the Intel Core i3, Intel Core i5 or Intel Core i7?

Core i7 is the best, then Core i5, then Core i3, then Core 2 Duo, then Centrino.

It depends on what you want the computer for! If you want a fast and mobile machine for work, Intel Centrino 2 is the best CPU for you! With a good graphics card it can also handle the latest games! You can browser the Internet, watch HD videos and listen to music using Intel Centrino 2! It's a fast mobile processor made for work! If you want a really fast gaming CPU I would recommend Intel Core i5 or i7, because Core i3 is also meant for work and you will get almost the same performance with it as with the Centrino 2! I personally use Intel Core i7 2630QM (notebook processor) which is QUAD Core and can reach speeds up to 2.9 GHz using the Turbo Boost Technology! It's awesome for gaming if you have a decent graphics adapter such as Mobility Radeon HD 5850 / NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M! I maxed out Crysis with my NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M and i7 2630QM, the CPU usage was 15 - 20%. Which is amazing for a hard core game such as Crysis. If you have a really good graphics card Intel Centrino 2 and i3/i5/i7 are also going to perform perfectly, but intel core i7 is the best! My i7 has 8 cores, 4 normal and 4 virtual cores which makes some things a lot faster! If you want the best out there I recommend Intel Core i7 QUAD CORE!
