Problem with computer

Hello,

I recently built a new computer and when I pressed the power button, the fans spin for like a second and then stop. I thought that the psu was the problem so i returned it back to newegg and they sent me a new one. When i put it all together, same thing happens, the fans just spins and stops. Also, on the motherboard the green led light is on.
So i was wondering what could be the problem???

AMD phenom II X3 720
Asus M4A77TD Pro
Patriot 2GB DDR3 1333
XFX Radeon HD4890
Western Digital Caviar Blue 250GB
Diablotek PHD 550W

What happens afterwards? Does your rig boot at all?

If you've already replaced the PSU, your board is probably going/gone. Has it worked before?

[strike]Do you have the 4 pin or 8 pin connector off the PSU to the mobo ? If the 4 pin try the 8 pin[strike]

Well there goes that only a 4 pin on that mobo
