Mother board

I am new to this comp stuff but had my netbook checked out and it needs a new motherboard, how do i go about getting this fixed and is it expensive?

If you can get your hands on the part it can be done. If you are new to computers it's not likely that you'll actually be able to do it yourself. Parts vary in cost so wouldn't be able to know for sure what your cost would be without knowing exactly what the system is.

I guess at this point I would ask, how do you know it's the motherboard?
