SATA Driver?

Hello,
I have an IP35 Pro board running a core 2 quad proc and will be reinstalling tomorrow.
The question is, do i need to use a special driver for good SATA performance? not doing RAID but want the best performance.
Do i need to do anything or just install as normal and let Windows 7 address it?
