From what I read it is just a rumor right now. And that it does not effect any specific card but the recall would effect the entire 6 series of cards. Meaning all GTX 670, 680, and 690's would be recalled. That would really be something. Do you have different information on the subject??

This does 0 to quell my worries about a recall. I have doubts that Nvidia would come out and do a recall unless they are forced too. The negative press and monetary damage to them would be massive.

I understand where you come from. Only time will tell. Every1 who has purchased the card so far is in love aside from the few DOA and RMA's that go along with every launch. Me personally I always wait a few months after new tech is released. It saves me headaches and lets them work out the bugs of the new architecture. I usually get the card for ta least $100 cheaper and usually get a more refined product. You always take a risk when becoming an early adopter. But hey some people just gotta have the newest tech right away.

This :)

my EVGA 670 came with a high flow bracket, runs cool and my max core clock is around 1228mhz.

I guess to each his own, but yeah with the performance I get from this card I am glad I went with the 670 :)

I thought retail was only $500 for the 680? I know there is price gauging going on but I still see a few for $500. The 670 is one hell of a card none the less. I do know it can be overclocked to match the 680.
