is this psu able to run an i7 920 and a 5770?

If you can afford an i7 set up go with an Antec, Corsair or OCZ 80+ certified with active PFC PSU :P

Ya doesn't matter - a HD 5770 is a very low power consuming card and any quality 500 watter 80+ certified would cut it ^^
