not all cards/chips will OC the same.
did you just jump to max or did you increase by small amounts and tested each increase?

i don't blame you

take it easy and ease it up. you never know it may get to like the max OC . .

Increase the voltage. Use Sapphire Trixx and up the ante on the voltage. It should allow for some headroom for the increased core clock which in turn should make it stable.

Regards

Edit: this will increase the temps on the GPU, so a good cooler would help indeed

Yes.you are right.I will test the clocks by small amount.

How to increase voltage? I don't see any option in the Trixx.there is one option 'Board power Li'.should I try that? how much should I increase at start? temps are fine though.under load,it reaches upto 65c.

I reccomand using asus tweak for voltage and then sapphire trixx for clocks. That being said i would reccomand ocing it to 1150 core clock and 1300 memory , with a 10 point increase on the voltage just incase.

I usually hover around 65c with the his 7850 version(one fan) but the fan is at 70 pct , just don't be afraid to increase the fan speed

so far I have managed to overclock this card at 1150/1350 with 1.15v.temps are around 72c after hours of gaming.although I need to set fan to 100% to keep temperatures under control.what are your volts?

Also i think you hit your limit . Just leave it at that
