Domain login from workgroup machine

Hello,
Anyone know how to do this? I'm on a VMWare instance (workgroup) with no domain access and wants to run an application with domain rights. When I use runas /netonly /user:<domain>\<username> I get the application to start, but every local function is connected to the local (non-domain) user.

Should that not perhaps be runas /netonly /user:<domain>\<username><password> ?
