Hello all,

Have just finished building my first system, all went well. Installed Windows 7 Ultimate again everything
went ok. My question is I was following some guidelines from a magazine and it said to format/partition
the hard drive giving the appropriate partition size during the install. I just kept clicking on next without
doing this.
What is the outcome of not formatting/partitioning going to be?
Has Windows 7 automatically done this for me?
As this is my first build I am very pleased with the result and the way it is running, all seems fine to me but
I now have this nagging doubt about the way the system will run in the future. Can anyone help clarify what
this omission might result in.

Well since it was a new fresh install on you computer you will be fine, You do not need to worry about formatting or partitioning. You are fine.

It is not going to affect the way the system runs either. So you are no doubt fine.

And you can change partition sizes, etc with programs later on IF needed, like partition magic pro.

Hope I helped!
