I'm building a new computer for someone, replacing a 7ish year old AthlonXP 2100+. It's been a while since I've built one, so I could use some advice to make sure I'm not choosing problem prone components. Please advice if you think I would be better off choosing a different component.
Here's what they will use it for: web surfing, very minor digital imaging (taking pictures of camera, browsing them, e-mailing them (no editing of them), and some extremely minor audio (listening to Pandora, loading an iPod, ripping the occasional record to mp3).
Here's what I have so far, and could use some advice if my mobo/ processor combo are the best bang for the buck. This setup is coming in at $900 right now.
I plan on buying everything from NewEgg, and hopefully in the next 12-24hours.
